Avoid these Known Cruise Ship Employment Scams

Over the years I have reported several cruise ship job scams through my websites and newsletters.

Even so, barely a week goes by without us receiving emails from people telling us how they have been a victim of yet another fraudulent scheme. Unfortunately this week was no different.

For this reason, I am publishing the names and locations of known culprit companies that claim to be legitimate agencies for employment on cruise ships.

Here they are in alphabetical order:

  • Canadian Cruise Shipping (Canada and Malaysia)
  • Cruise Careers (Wyoming, Canada)
  • Cruise Queenliner (Malaysia)
  • Cruiseshipjobinsider.com (New Hampshire, USA)
  • Fleewing International (California, USA)
  • Global Cruise Shipping Services (USA)
  • Hawks Marine Cruises International (Canada)
  • Mutus Cruises (Malaysia)
  • arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Mycruiseshipjob.com (New Hampshire, USA)
  • Pan American Cruise Corporation (Berverly Hills, USA)
  • Royal Cruiseliner, Royal Cruise Liner (Malaysia)
  • Salsa Cruise (Malaysia)
  • Shipping Planet (Malaysia)
  • Skylines Cruise International (Malaysia)
  • Starcruise (Malaysia)
  • Starline Cruises (Malaysia)
  • Transways Logistics (Malaysia)
  • Vigo Cruises (Malaysia)

  • All of the above cruise ship job scammers charge upfront fees in exchange for 'guaranteeing' their applicants a job on a cruise ship. Unfortunately our investigations reveal that they have been repeatedly reported to fail to find any employment for their victims.

As you can see many of them are based in Malaysia (and hence outside of most federal laws in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc) but unfortunately they all also have an internet presence which means they are free to find their victims anywhere in the world.

Please DO NOT be influenced by anyone who GUARANTEES you a cruise ship job in exchange for a fee. If you come across any of the above names, please do not send them any money.

If you know of any other
Cruise ship job scams, please let us know.
